Where to Access

To access Loxo's Account-Based Prospecting feature:

  1. Click on the Companies page of Loxo in your left-hand navigation bar.

  2. Click "Add Company"

  3. Select "Loxo Source"


How to Use

Once you arrive in the Account-Based Prospecting interface, you'll have access to filters on the left, similar to when searching in Loxo Source for people.

  1. Utilize robust filtering options, specify companies, or utilize our keyword/Boolean enabled text box.

  2. Once companies meeting your parameters are identified, you can:

    1. Click on the company title to get a quick overview of the company details, as well as a few featured people:

    2. Check the box to the far right of the company, or multiple companies:

      1. At the top right of the page, you will gain access to decision-makers or employees once at least one company is checked:

  3. Filter by title, location, or seniority level within one or multiple companies at once after selecting "Find Decision-makers" or "View Employees":

  4. Once employees are listed:

    1. Use the "Fetch contact" button to instantly add people to your database and receive their available contact information.

    2. Check the box on one or more people.

      1. This enables you to add any and all directly to a List, Campaign or even a Job Pipeline with the +Add to... button.

         

        *Note that a job or campaign must exist before being able to add prospects. Lists, however, can be created directly from here.


Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Is Account-Based Prospecting available on the Basic plan?

A. No, this feature is only available on accounts that have access to Loxo Source.

Q. When I add someone through the Account-Based Prospecting feature, how will they be labeled in my database?

A. People added to your database through Account-Based Prospecting will follow the typical flow of people added to your database through Loxo Source and the Chrome Extension. This is the Person Type marked as "default" under Settings > Roles > Person. Loxo accounts come with "Candidate" as the default person type, but check with an account administrator to clarify the setting in your own account.
