Make Bulk Changes to Your People Profiles

Make bulk changes to people's information in your Loxo database

Having the right information at your fingertips makes your job easier, and we want to make it easy to get to the right information. Loxo allows you to make changes or updates to one person or multiple people at once, because editing in bulk can save you a lot of time.

Bulk operations in Loxo also allow you to efficiently manage and update multiple records simultaneously, streamlining repetitive tasks and ensuring consistency across your data.

You can make bulk changes to contact records from your People page - whether in the List view or the Card view.

To make changes to people's records in bulk, follow the steps below:

  1. Search and filter for the group of contacts you want to change or update.Β

  2. Select those contacts by checking the box for their profile, either in bulk or individually.

  3. Choose the "Edit" option that appears at the top.

  4. Make the desired changes to fields such as Title, Company, Location, Owners, Source, Custom Fields, and Tags. The changes you enter in the data fields will replace the data previously in those fields.

  5. When editing Tags:

    1. Select 'Add' to assign a new tag to an existing contact record, while keeping any tags that were added previously.

    2. Choose 'Replace' to replace all tags with the new tags (all previous tags under each contact's profile will be removed).

    3. Click Set Tags to retain changes.

6. Save your changes by selecting Bulk Change at the bottom of the modal.

Note: We do not support making Bulk Changes for Activity Events or contact information. Bulk changes apply to fields within a person profile such as title, location, person owner, person type, custom fields - any field which can be filtered on the people page aside from name and contract information.

Pro tip: You can follow the steps above on the Companies page to make bulk changes to your Company records as well!
