Merge Deals

Merge two or more deals to keep your Sales CRM pipeline clean and simple

Everyone can appreciate a clean desk - no clutter, plenty of space to embrace the task ahead - and the same can be said of your sales pipeline. Clutter gets in the way of efficiency, and we are here to help you reduce the noise. When you accidentally create the same deal twice or another team member creates a similar deal, you can merge them into one deal, combining all notes, documents, and contacts.

Follow the steps below to merge two or more deals into one.

  1. Go to the Sales CRM page and open a Deal Card that you want to merge.

  2. Click on the three dots in the upper right-hand corner.

  3. Select "Merge" from the drop-down menu.

  4. Click on Add Deal in the bottom left corner and find the deal(s) you want to merge with the original. Note: you can only merge deals that are in the same Deals Pipeline. You cannot merge or move deals across different sales pipelines.

  5. Select the cells that you want to keep. The fields and information that will be kept after the merge will be highlighted in green.

    • Each deal can have only one Deal Name and one Deal Owner. Use the green boxes to confirm which Name and Owner you want to keep.

    • Some fields, like Tasks, Events, and Smart Tags, can be combined from multiple deals and kept on the merged deal. So, if you want to include all events or tasks across all of the deals you are merging, make sure those boxes are green.

  6. Click "Merge" in the bottom right corner to combine the deals.
