Copying candidates from one job to another is possible with Loxo! Follow the steps below to move one candidate, a whole stage, or several select candidates at once.
Move Candidates into a Different Job
So, you've got talent in a pipeline that would be great for another opportunity? Follow the steps below to copy the candidates over into a different pipeline. Note: this will not remove the candidates from the original pipeline.
Open the job with the candidates you want to copy.
Determine whether you want to move one candidate, several candidates, or all the candidates in a particular stage.
If you are moving one or a few candidates, select the candidate cards you plan on copying into the new job. You can also check the box(es) for their profile(s) from the List view of the pipeline.
If you are planning to move all of the candidates who are currently in a particular job stage, click the three dots in the top right corner of that stage, then choose "Select All."
Once you have selected at least one candidate, you'll see a list of actions available across the top of the page.
βClick the "+Add to..." option in the upper right corner.
Select "-> Add to Another Job."
A new window will open, where you'll enter the job you want to move the candidates to, along with the particular Job Stage you want to place the candidates in for that pipeline. Click "Copy" to move the candidates over to your other pipeline.

Copy Multiple Candidates into Different Stages of a Job
Keep reading below if you are trying to bulk move candidates from job to job, AND you need to move candidates into different stages in the new job.
The simplest way to manage bulk movement into different job stages of a job is to work with one stage at a time. If you want everyone from the previous job to go into the new job and all land in the same stage, feel free to select records throughout the original pipeline. Sometimes, though, you may want to keep people from the Shortlist of the original role in the Shortlist of the new job, while keeping candidates from the Longlist there, even in the new opportunity. In this case, you can start by moving everyone from the Shortlist stage in the first job to the Shortlist stage in the new job, and then continue working across the job pipeline one stage at a time, as needed.
Whether you are copying ALL of the candidates within a job stage or just a select few, you should move them into a different job stage, one stage at a time.
