Adding people or company data in Loxo is easy, and we want to make sure that removing data is just as simple. Follow the steps below to delete individual people profiles, company records, or bulk delete records.
Delete Individual Person Records
Maybe someone was added to your database in error, or you're just trying to clean up old profiles that are no longer relevant to you. Follow the steps below to delete an individual record.
From the List View:
Open the person's Loxo profile by clicking on their name.
Click on the trash can icon located at the top of the person's profile.
From the Card View:
Both options will require a double confirmation of the deletion of the person profile.
Note: If you are unable to see the "Delete" button for a record, it may be because deleting records is an admin-only ability in Loxo. You will need to contact one of the admins on your Loxo account to assist with the deletion of the record. Additionally, administrators hold exclusive permission rights to delete records, further safeguarding against unauthorized data removal.
This includes all associated data such as notes, activities, resumes/CVs and profile information, which will be permanently removed.
Bulk Delete Person or Company Records
If you need to remove a Company Record or multiple profiles at once, you can do so by following the steps below:
Select all of the people or companies you'd like to remove by checking the boxes for each record as outlined above. You can also use the "Select All" option to select all of the records on the page.
βUse the 'Delete' option at the top of the page.
βYou will be asked to confirm your choice because deleting records is a permanent action.
Deleting records is a permanent action, and it may take a few minutes to process the removal of all associated data from your Loxo account. If a company record has an a job associated with it in the Loxo database, it cannot be deleted. This ensures the preservation of historical job and candidate data linked to those company records.
Deleting records is a permanent action, and it cannot be reversed by Loxo Support. Please be mindful before purging one or multiple records.
