Adding people to your Outreach Campaigns is designed to be quick and easy, and there are several ways throughout our platform that you can include someone as a prospect. Whether you're automating your Campaigns from a Job Stage or manually adding prospective clients to a business development sequence, Loxo gives you the tools to kick off your communication efforts.
This article explains how to add people to a Campaign individually or in batches.
Add People to a Campaign from the Campaign
Once you have a Campaign set up, you can begin adding your prospects at your convenience. To add a person directly from the Campaign, you can follow the steps below:
Navigate to the Outreach Page and open the Campaign you want to work from.
Click on the Prospects tab at the top of the page.
Click on the "+ Prospect" button in the upper right corner.
Search for the people in your database that you want to add.
Click on the blue + icon next to the names of the people you want to add.
The selected people will be added to your Campaign, and their status should show as "Active."
Add People to a Campaign from the People Page
If you're working from your People page, you can quickly add people to a Campaign so you don't have to navigate away from any work in progress. Follow the instructions below to add one person or multiple people to a campaign directly from the People page.
On the People page, search for the contacts you want to add to a Campaign. You can select all of the records on the page by clicking the check box at the top. You can also select specific individual contacts using the checkbox on their profile.
Once you've selected the people you want, click the "+ Add to..." button in the upper right corner.
Search for the Campaign you want to send out.
Click Add or schedule a time to send.
You can also open an individual's profile and use the Outreach section on the right-hand side of their profile to place them in a Campaign. Adding someone to a Campaign directly from their profile gives you the ability to personalize or customize the Campaign for that recipient specifically. You can learn more about this here.
Add People to a Campaign from a Job
You can create an auto-add Campaign directly from a Job Stage to automate your Outreach. You can learn more about automating campaigns here. You can also manually add a person or select targeted batches of candidates and then add them to an Outreach Campaign from directly within a Job. To add candidates manually:
Navigate to the Job or Job Stage with the candidates you want to add to the Campaign.
Select the checkbox for the person or people you want to add to the Campaign.
If you're working within the List view, you can select multiple people at once using the check box next to the 'Name' column.
If you're working within the Kanban stage view, you can select all of the people in a specific Job Stage by clicking the three dots in the top right corner of that Stage. Choose 'Select all' from the menu.
When profiles are selected, the search bar will be replaced with several actions. Click the "+ Add to..." button in the upper right.
Select Add to Loxo Outreach™ from the menu.
Search for the Campaign you want to add your candidates to.
Click Add or schedule a later send time.
Once someone is in your Campaign, you can manage them by taking individual steps like:
Remove them from the Campaign entirely.
Pause them temporarily so you can unpause them later.
Retry Failed Stage if the email or text failed. If this happened, make sure to update the person's email or phone address and then retry!
Skip Stage and have them move to the next one.
Mark as Finished so they stay in the campaign for reporting purposes, but won't receive any future stages.
Add to another Loxo Outreach™ that you have open.
You can also take action on all or many people in a Campaign at once by using the Select All button on your Prospects Page or simply using the checkboxes for the people you need to select.
Using the actions located at the top of the page, you can perform mass actions like pausing, skipping stages, retrying failed stages, or marking finished. You also have additional features such as exporting to a CSV or adding to another Loxo Outreach™.
