Navigating the Jobs Page in Loxo

Introduction to the Loxo ATS and how to make your Jobs page work for you

As you know, Loxo's ATS is built using a Kanban framework to give you a simple and interactive overview of your Job Pipeline. Individual job pages give you two main ways to track the candidates in your pipeline: the streamlined Kanban view and a more in-depth List view. You can easily switch between the two using the toggle in the top left corner when you open an individual Job Pipeline:

The main Jobs Page also offers a master funnel that allows you to filter your candidates across the entire array of your Job Pipelines and Hiring Companies. From the main Jobs Page, you'll click the Candidates tab at the top left. By default, this view will show you all candidates in all stages across all jobs. Using the toggle in the top right corner, you can group candidates by job or Hiring Company. You can also use the Filter icon to search by categories such as Candidate Owner, Job or Company Location, Job Status and more.

Continue reading below to learn more about each of these views and how you can use them to manage your jobs.

The Candidates View of the Jobs Page

The Candidates view of the Jobs Page gives you a master Kanban overview of all of your candidates, with the added functionality to quickly filter and group candidates across all pipelines. When you click into the Candidates view, you will notice candidates from all jobs populated across the Job Stages in your workflow. You can toggle between two different views - the Kanban view and the Card view.

Both the Kanban view and the Card view provide a Boolean-enabled search bar that you can use to filter your candidates. In both the Kanban and Card views, you can also click the Funnel icon in the upper right corner to filter by Candidate Owner, Job Status, Job Type, Company Location, and more.

The default view when you arrive on the Candidates tab will be the Kanban view, loaded with No Grouping. Swapping to the Card view will apply the "By Job" grouping automatically.

Kanban View of Candidates in Jobs

The Kanban view looks similar to an individual Job Pipeline, but from the main Candidates tab, you can see candidates from all jobs. The Job Pipeline that each candidate is in will be linked at the top of their Candidate Card.

The functionality here is the same as from within an individual Job Pipeline, in that you can Drag & Drop candidates into different stages, add Notes to their cards, access the three-dot menu for actions like submitting, rejecting, or removing the candidate from the Job, and bulk select profiles.

There is an additional option to group the candidates by Job or by Hiring Company from this view. The default is set to 'No grouping.'

When a "grouping" funnel is applied, the page will show your candidates by job or by Hiring Company. Naturally, the "By Job" option shows you each individual Job Pipeline separately. Grouping by Hiring Company can give you insight into where candidates are in the hiring process across all jobs for each client. You can always re-select the 'No grouping' option to remove the funnel and see all candidates in all jobs in one Kanban.

Card View of Candidates in Jobs

You can toggle into the Card view for an overview of candidates across different Job Pipelines, Hiring Companies and Stages.

Switching to the Card view applies the "By Job" grouping automatically to present you with a view that combines the high-level insight of a List view with the snapshot provided by your Candidate Cards. You can apply additional filters or modify the grouping on this page for an overview of the candidates you need. The Card view allows you to group candidates by Hiring Company as well as Job Stage. There is no "No grouping" option on the Card view.

Jobs View of the Jobs Page

Admins can customize the fields shown on your Job grid from the Jobs view, and all team members can filter, sort, and organize jobs within the Jobs view. The Jobs view is the best page to Drag & Drop and modify the order in which your jobs are listed in your database.

Note: The Jobs Page is connected to the People Page. If you choose to view "All Activity" in the Jobs Page, you will see all candidates and contacts when you return to the main People Page. If you choose to view only "My Activity" in the Jobs page, you will only see your profiles on the People Page.

The Jobs view gives you an overview of the jobs in your database. By default, this page will only show your Active Jobs or jobs set to your account's "Default" Job Status. From here, you can access a range of filters to quickly search all jobs that have been added to Loxo.

  • You can use the Boolean-enabled search bar to search through your and your team's jobs.

  • You can choose to view only your jobs by selecting the "My Jobs" icon in the upper right corner.

  • You can choose to view jobs across the team by selecting the "All Jobs" icon.

  • Click on the Filter icon to filter jobs by data fields such as Job Owner, Job Status, Job Type, Job Tag, Job Location, etc.

  • Click the Arrows icon to sort jobs by Created Date, Job Title, or Hiring Company.

  • You can adjust Job Statuses and Job Tags for each job using the badges available in the Jobs view, and you can Drag & Drop using the lines on the left to re-arrange the way your jobs are listed.

The Jobs page gives you all the functionality you need to organize your jobs on a macro level.
