Loxo Source UI Update

More uniformity, sleeker look and more control over filters with the new Loxo Source UI update.

These updates focus on improving the clarity, consistency and usability of key search filters across Loxo Source. The goal is to create a cleaner, more intuitive experience by standardizing how filters look, feel and behave, making them easier to understand and faster to use while reducing overall cognitive load.

In addition to visual consistency, the updates enhance how Title, Company, Location and other filters handle inclusion, exclusion and logical relationships. Users now have clearer, more intuitive controls for defining current versus past criteria, working with OR-based logic, and refining searches through nested options and toggles. Existing backend capabilities are surfaced in a more transparent, user-friendly way, while new controls - such as the ability to toggle similar job titles on or off - support both broad discovery and exact-match searches.

Here is what has been updated:

Inclusion/Exclusion criteria

Simply click on the three dots of the input you would like to exclude:

These are available in the Title, Location, Company and School filters and behave as "OR" statements rather than "AND" statements.

Current or Past Titles and Companies

You can now customize searches by current and past titles, as well as companies, supporting both AND and OR logic. This capability existed previously, but is now exposed in a much more straightforward and intuitive way.

*If you wish to search for specific titles in current AND past roles, you will need to enter in both locations.

Title

Now included is the option to "Include similar Job Titles." This is defaulted to be on and operates as Loxo Source always has, offering variants in the title you are searching for. However, if you are looking for an exact match to the title, toggling this off will show only those with the exact title you have added.
