Loxo's Sign-On Features

Learn about our Single Sign-On option for Google and Microsoft users

We have partnered with Google and Microsoft to streamline the onboarding process for users and enhance security, making sign-ins faster and more seamless for both new and returning users. New customers also enjoy the benefit of an instantly synced email address upon signup.

Additionally, Single Sign-On (SSO) simplifies the login process by eliminating the need for multiple passwords and allows users to independently manage their login without needing administrator assistance.

New Customers

  1. Use the "Continue with ..." button for your respective provider.

  2. Sign in to your Google or Microsoft account using your regular email account credentials.

Note: If you do not sign up using our Gmail or Microsoft single sign-on feature, you'll need to verify your phone number to finish setting up an account. Keep in mind that a phone number can only be used once to create an account. The number provided must be a valid number that can receive SMS, as you will be receiving a verification code at the number you have entered.

Existing Users

If you already have an account with us, and your login email address is linked to a Microsoft or Google account, you have the option to use the single sign-on instead of entering your password. Existing passwords still work, though, leaving your sign-in method flexible.

If you encounter issues logging in using SSO, make sure that your browser is cleared of old cache or try using an incognito window. Contact support if the issue persists.

As an existing user, the next time you go to log in to Loxo, you can click to continue with your provider. Keep in mind that the email address you sign in with has to be the same email address that is associated with your Loxo account in order for the single sign-on flow to work as expected.

Loxo Login Verification Codes

As part of its commitment to user security, Loxo has implemented mandatory email verification as an enhanced safeguard against unauthorized access. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) and email verification are integral to Loxo's security framework and are mandatory for all accounts. This policy ensures consistent security across all users and cannot be disabled, irrespective of account size or login method.

Users or teams using Google Single Sign-On or other SSO methods, such as Okta, are not required to enter a verification code as they already include robust MFA mechanisms. Microsoft SSO, however, distinguishes between enterprise and non-enterprise accounts: enterprise Microsoft users (e.g., Azure AD) often enjoy persistent sessions without needing verification codes for each login, while non-enterprise Microsoft account holders and password-based authentications always require a new MFA code for every new device.

If you are not receiving Loxo’s verification code via email, consider the following steps:

  • Check your Spam or Junk folders to ensure the email hasn’t been misrouted.

  • Verification Codes come from the same place as other Loxo notifications (email read receipts, form submissions, application notifications, etc). If you have an email rule or filter that handles your Loxo notifications, the verification code might have been caught by those.

  • Set up an email rule or filter in your email client (e.g., Outlook or Gmail) to route emails with "Verify your email address" in the subject line directly to your inbox.

  • If you're experiencing technical errors during SSO, try logging in using an incognito/private browsing window first. If this resolves the issue, clear cookies and cached data for "app.loxo.co" in your standard browser settings and retry.

  • For persistent issues, take a screenshot of the error and share with our support team.
