2. Type your message...
*Use the merge tags to personalize your text messageĀ or use a pre-made SMS template (These can be created and stored in your agency settings)

3. Send!

FAQ:

  • Learn how to send bulk SMS

  • Text replies will go to your email address from noreply@loxo.co, not your cell phone!

  • The text message will go the candidate's primary phone number which is the number that is listed first on their profile (even if it's not a mobile number)
    To update the primary phone number, hit Edit on the profile then drag and drop the phone number to the top of the available numbers.

  • Replies for single SMS
    By default, SMS replies will go to the last Loxo user who sent the contact a text.
    If you want to have the person owner to also receive the reply, change your SMS settings under "Settings" --> "Customize."

  • Replies for campaign SMS
    By default, SMS replies will go to the last Loxo user who sent the contact a text, and the campaign creator and whoever added to contact to the campaign - this is potentially 3 people.
    If you want to have the person owner to also receive the campaign reply, change your SMS settings under "Settings" --> "Customize."

Updates to SMS regulations: Unsubscribe

We are constantly staying on top of texting rules and regulations in order to assure both our company and our customers (that is you!) are remaining within the legal regulations of calling and texting. As regulations change we must remain flexible and initiate the proper changes to react quickly and effectively. As of recent it is now required that if a phone number came from Loxo Connect and your agency has never sent it a SMS previously or if your database phone number has not received a SMS from this number in the last 18 months, the initial text will have this verbiage: 'Reply STOP if not interested.'

If the candidate does respond "STOP" to unsubscribe from texts from you, you will then be automatically blocked from texting this number again out of Loxo. When they respond stop they will receive a follow up confirmation text like so:

If they decide to resubscribe to your texts, they will have to text back "START" at any point in time and this will automatically lift the block on your account!
