The Loxo Chrome Extension is an add-on that helps parse information directly into various data fields in your Loxo account. Once installed, the Chrome Extension is available to use on social sites such as WellFound, XING, and GitHub.

Install the Loxo Chrome Extension
Note: You need to be logged into Loxo on a Google Chrome browser to install the Chrome Extension.
Click the three dots at the bottom of the navigation bar.
Select Loxo Extension
Select Add to Chrome:
When prompted, confirm that you want to add the extension:

Note: The Loxo Chrome Extension is always improving communication with other sites, and we are regularly releasing updates. As a result, there may be times when updating to a newer version of the extension will make the experience cleaner and more efficient. If you experience occasional issues with the extension, it may be helpful to update or remove the extension and redownload it following the steps above or to clear your browsing data.
The Loxo Chrome Extension is designed to work seamlessly with the Google Chrome browser. While Chrome Extensions can be downloaded on other browsers, such as Microsoft Edge or ARC, the reliability and functionality of the extension on those browsers depends on their capabilities. For the best experience with our extension, we recommend working in Google Chrome.

When to Use the Loxo Chrome Extension
The Loxo Chrome Extension is a quick and easy way to source people and streamline your workflow. It's designed to help you to build talent pipelines faster and more efficiently.
One of the primary benefits of using the Chrome Extension is being able to add candidates straight to a Job Pipeline in Loxo. You can read more about using the extension to add candidates to a Job in our Help Center.
The Chrome Extension allows you to tag your candidates with keywords in the moment, while you are thinking about them.
You can take notes on a candidate based on your impression of their online profiles using the Chrome Extension.
The Chrome Extension is an easy way to update the information in a person's record, as the extension will pull the most recently updated information that the person has added to their social profile.
The Chrome Extension may also aid in identifying people who are already in your database so that you can merge or refresh a record instead of duplicating it. Your extension will turn blue, with a red dot as well, when someone is already in your database. Please keep in mind that the profile in your database must have the same Social Media URL in order to be flagged!
The extension will automatically populate contact fields on AngelList and GitHub without additional data entry.
Note: The web extension will not automatically populate fields from all Social Media sites but will generate a form that you can use to quickly copy relevant contact info.
