Filter Jobs by Job Status

Add Statuses to your jobs to use as quick filters

Job Statuses are labels that can help track a job's current state in your business pipeline. Job Status data informs your team's Loxo Reports and can be used to quickly filter jobs from the main Jobs page.

By default, Loxo includes two Job Statuses: Active and Inactive. Think "Open" or "Closed." Though most of our customers prefer to add more context to their Job Pipelines and will customize or add to the default Job Statuses.

Update the Status of a Job

Loxo offers two Job Statuses to get you started, which can be used to help distinguish your jobs. Account admins can also create a customized list of Job Statuses to give more insight into team performance and the general progress of Job Pipelines in the database. You can read more about customizing Job Statuses here.

Once the Job Status list reflects your company's needs, new and existing jobs can be updated to reflect a specific status.

To update the status of a job, navigate to the main Jobs Page.

  1. From the Jobs Page, you can see the status of each job on the right side of the job bar.

  2. When a new job is created, it will automatically be assigned the account's "Default" status. This will be the 'Active' Job Status, unless your team's admin changes the default Job Status for the account.

  3. To change the status of a job, click on the Job Status badge to open the dropdown.

  4. Select the updated Job Status in the dropdown menu.

  5. The updated Job Status will be reflected on the Jobs Page based on your selection, but the job will not be visible without filtering if you change the status to anything other than your default job status.

A Job's Status can also be updated by clicking "Manage" at the top-right corner of the Job Pipeline and opening the Advanced Settings at the bottom of the window.

Filter by Job Status

Once you have updated your Job Statuses, you can easily filter your Jobs Page based on Job Status.

  1. First, locate the filter icon on the far right side of your screen:

  2. From there, you can select to filter by Job Status, checking the box(es) for which Status(es) you'd like to view:

Pro Tip: By default, your Jobs page will only show jobs with the "Default" status (such as Active or Open). You can filter by status to view other jobs in your database.
